:iconmi-cah: Micah was a sweetheart and made me a CSS journal skin. Two in fact so I thought I should actually put them to use!

:iconlenap: Lenap did the art for it (as anyone who watches her can tell).

Life:

As I mentioned before, my husband got his job and well he was supposed to start today but the contract was held up by Legal so his boss is making the revisions and says she will send it to him tonight by close of business which for her is like between 2 and 4 am for us even though she's only 2 hrs behind us because she's a night owl.

This means that HOPEFULLY on the 30th he'll have a full or mostly full paycheck from them and I can QUIT MY JOB!!! Which while I love what I do, I do NOT love two of the people I'm forced to work with and it is becoming more and more of a chore to drag my butt out of bed in the mornings and go. I will give my two weeks notice when he gets his first paycheck and I have been keeping my boss updated as to the situation so she's known now for 2 months that I would likely be quitting and has an approximate day now. My last day should he get his check on the 30th should be the 13th. I will be very busy for like 2 weeks after that and may be mostly offline for those 2 weeks while I move, but after that I will have a great deal more time and can get my ass back to writing fanfiction as well as getting some original fiction done.

The last two months has been very unfun for me in a lot of ways.

In regards to Mission Iruka and people who've ordered and not yet received their copy... I AM SO SORRY! I promise I'm trying to get all of this done for you guys so that it will be in your hands before I move. If you have not received your copy feel free to drop me a note or leave a comment here or on my other journal about here -> [link] I intend to throw in a little extra something for those who've had to wait.

IF you received a copy and WEREN'T happy with it for some reason please drop me a note and let me know what the problem is/was so that I can resolve it even if it's refunding your money.

Also Lei-sam is finishing up her degree so the next part of the doujin is on hold until after the first of the year. In the meantime I'm going to bug my colorist into getting more pages of it colored so that HOPEFULLY I can get the first part put into a PDF file for people to download and read online.

TRANSLATORS!!!
If anyone is willing to translate the story for me to really any other language I would be indebted to you and possibly willing to say send you a free copy of the first part of the doujin as compensation after the translation is complete. If anyone knows of it already translated please toss me a link so I can put it up for people.

Oh. My. God. That is the cutest, prettiest, most awesome journal skin I have ever seen in my life. ^^

I could translate it into Dutch if you want? I don't know how many people are gonna want to read that, though. ;P But if you want a Dutch version I'm totally willing to help :)

Congrats for finally getting to quit your job and.. uhh.. sorry for your bad coworkers D:

Btw, just so you know, I'm planning to do your Childhood (Kakairu) from the 100 themes thing... that is if no one nabbed it yet..? >w>;; I don't mind changing if it's taken...
Oh! and i'm doing it on A4 paper kay? :)

I like the CSS layout :D it's simple and cute!

Yeah it's a good thing in the long run. Just a little stressful in the short term.

I'm happy to be leaving it's not just the coworkers I can feel the place burning me out every time I have to put down a cat or dog that's perfectly adoptable due to 'space'.

That works but I should probably do a short continuation of it with the party thing like originally planned. A4 sounds great.

I like simple things so I LOVE it. ^.^
