1. I just started a low carb diet... already miss bread.
2. I used to bake bread for a living. And it was with a brick oven... ever so cool and my favorite job to this day. If you pass through Rockland ME stop by CafeMiranda [link] or stop by the site and watch the video Kerry did, you'll kind of get an idea why I loved it so much.
3. I have my car back! Well Molly (my car) is a Mitzubishi Eclips she's metalic baby blue with a custom pinstripe and icons, she has the crome icons and is well so a lesbian car. Cuz damn does she like to hug those curves! hehe But she had a flat tire and we just got it fixed. Thank god because my mom's van, which is what we were driving, is teh evil!
4. I bought a new cd visor thing and the hubby whined because it has flowers on it. They're blue and they match Molly.
5. I hate the radio stations around here. They all suck. So CDs it is for me. Not that I don't have an abundance of those.
6. I have between 200 and 400 CDs. I know because my hubby had 200 when we got together which I know because I put them in his 200 disc changer and had a few left over. Well that was with mine.
7. My current favorite CD is Plans by Deathcab for Cutie and my favorite song on it is What Sarah Said. Although this changes fairly quickly.
8. I'm having fun playing Age of Conan but am torn between writing and goofing off with the boys. I miss hanging out with them but but but... the smut compells me. ^.^

I've done this before but well there are definitely more than 8 things about me. This is a more serious version of the 8 questions I think than the last time I did it. Which you can read here: [link] So if you'd rather read the lighthearted stuff read that.

1. I share far too much of myself with people. I'm quite serious. I think it scares people some times that I am such an open person. I don't really keep secrets. I mean of my own. I'm perfectly capable of keeping other people's secrets. I discovered this in Alateen and with the 'friends' I had before Nat(aka fucktards I put up with before I became friends with Nat). I have a lot of friends who would tell me I was brave because I shared things so easily, (Alateens) and even others who believed that I was lying because I was candid ('friends'. My openness probably has a lot to do with being in Alateen for most of my childhood years and sharing so openly with them because I really could trust them. And now it's more, that I honestly just don't care. If a person doesn't like me after they learn about something then fine. Or if they don't believe me... then they're obviously not really a friend and so not worth my caring.

2. I'm bi. I'm sure most of you are going "duh..." but some people don't realize this. For those of you who don't, especially the ones I vaguely kind of sorta flirt with, hope that doesn't weird you out. I'm married to a guy and yes I've been involved with girls. One since being married (yes the hubby knew). My first crush was on my best friend - a girl who was also bi and yes I'd made out with her and then she decided we couldn't be friends later and we'd been friends for 7 years. Her new girlfriend didn't like me. *glowers* Yeah I was a little heartbroken. Well anyways me and the hubby and Natalanisha joke that my hubby shares but my girlfriend doesn't.

3. I'm the child of 2 alcoholics and my father left when I was five so I have abandonment issues. But at the same time I don't really know how I feel about my father. I can't decide if I hate him or not. He was an abusive alcoholic/addict but at the same time I grew up in Alateen so I know a lot/most of that was the addiction. And recently I've learned some things about my father that make me think that maybe he has some redeeming qualities. But I'm a realist so I'm hesitant to let a person like that into my life when it's not like he's tried to come and find me.

4. I have an unreasonable work ethic. I'm not kidding. For example I just got done with a 54 hr week... And it wasn't me who decided I needed to have a regular day off. My husband had to put his foot down. It was sweet actually. Because it was the "I want to see my wife." kind of thing so... But yeah I will kill myself for work.

5. I am a liberal! So is my brother... oddly 90% of the rest of my family is not, in fact they're neo-conservatives. And I've pretty far left. (As if you couldn't have guessed by the fact I write yaoi...) But anyways this leads to some interesting 'conversations' with my family. Like my mom's bewilderment that I believe in evolution AND God but not God by her terms or any terms for that matter (I don't like to call myself a christian or stick my higher power in a box or you know attend church). BUT at the same time she was amazed by the way I stood up to her pasture who was ranting about muslims and telling 'stories he heard' about muslims and various other crap. I went because my daughter goes to visit them and was attending church with them and he gave me the creeps so I wanted to confirm my suspicions before disallowing my child to go to the church I went to as a child. And now she's admitted that I was right and the man bigot and prick.

6. I was the kid that was picked on in school. And I'm not kidding. I was picked on until I cried. I even had 2 teachers who encouraged the students by telling me in front of them that if I did x they wouldn't pick on me. yeah... I was poor(didn't have new name brand clothes), extremely smart (read a lot even in class at recess), and VERY shy (yeah me? shy? pfft! I know. But I really was.) Oddly since about 9th or 10th grade I became the student who could walk up to nearly anyone and talk to them and have them not get snotty or haughty back. So what changed? Natalanisha. She (and Son) became my best friends in 8th grade and I suddenly decided nobody else really matter and I therefore did not give a fuck what they thought... And I had dozens of kids who used to tease me remark on the sudden change and get the honest truth as a response. And for some damned reason I can't figure out the entire football team decided they liked me in 11th grade. *twitch* And used to come sit by me and talk to me. I'd give them snide and snarky responses like "Don't touch me... I don't know where you've been." with a smile when they tapped me on the shoulder to get my attention. Or if they asked to copy off me cuz they didn't do their homework, I'd look at them and go "Hmm... sure! Of course I didn't do it either. I hate busy work." <- I'd eventually do it when the teacher would make me or if I was bored or if I had the same class as Nat or if god forbid I liked the class or the teacher. I actually mostly got As and Bs and 1 or 2 Cs (french because the twit thought I cheated on a test - off Nat because we had the same answers... cuz we studied together) and a D (Allgebra II <-he took my book away no not text book) Well anyways at our graduation pre-ceramony practice thing. All the football players yelled my name. And Nat who was sitting near them due to the seating order can vouch they didn't say anything mean or snarky about me the way they did about most of the cheerleaders and several known sluts. Of course this might have had soemthing to due with the fact they were all highly amused by the fact my real name is Bobbi Boucher (Waterboy). Maiden name of course.

7. I don't really have many regrets. Really. There are a couple things I probably shouldn't have done but I don't regret them. I learned from them and accept them as a part of my past. I pretty much accept my mistakes as they are and don't have this wish that I could undo them. Oddly this extends to the horrible things that have happened to me. I can't say I really forgive the people for the things they've done and I suppose I could wish they hadn't happened but I feel that as horrible as they were, despite the nightmares I still have, they have shaped me into me and so I accept them for what they are. I believe in Karma. My biological father abandoned us and now he is having to take care of his mother who's husband abandoned her. The step-father that was abusive... has cancer. Do I wish them pain? No. I wish that they learn to understand that which they have done. Really, truly, understand. No, I don't consider this to make me 'a good person' or 'a bad person.' A good person would forgive them. I don't. They have not asked for my forgiveness nor earned it. Nor do I actually believe they're sorry. I also don't belive most of the kids who picked on me are sorry or have learned from their mistakes. Although, I guess I can't say I have no regrets, I do have one, but you'll have to ask if you want to know what it is. Cuz I'll only tell certain people, friends.

8. I'm a victim of abuse. You want to know more, you'll have to ask. I have some strange views but they're far from the typical victim responses.
